The Sharjah Award for Excellence in Education with the vision “Distinguished academic performance for better education” and mission of “contributing to achieving high quality education components by enhancing a comprehensive motivating environment to attain distinguished performance” plays a vital role in the development of Quality Education in Sharjah and Dubai.
The Patron of the award, Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al- Qasimi is a member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates. Awards are given every year for the Most Distinguished Family, Teachers and Students. Rewards are given for outstanding students by promoting their excellence in all stages of public and private education. The Sharjah Award for Excellence in Education were presented on 20 April 2017at University City Hall, Sharjah.
Two of our students Sreelekshmi Kishore from Grade 9 B and Manasvi Udaya Kumar from Grade 9 A were nominated for this prestigious award. They had the ample opportunity of receiving the award from the Patron himself; H.H Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi.
The students were presented Sharjah Award Coat, Badge and the Certificate sealed by the Sharjah Educational Council and other higher authorities along with a cheque and their photo. The award raises a fair competitive spirit among the educational elements for getting the honor of winning, which positively reflects on improving educational performance.
