TOPIC: Quality Education – Roadmap to Sustainable Development.

The Emirates Environmental Group threw an open challenge to the student community across the country by inviting them to build a strong case on different contemporary issues relating to the environment. EEG inculcates the art of public speaking in budding orators and this served as a platform for the senior students in Gloria Hotel, Dubai, to showcase their talent on 25-04-2017. The participants Sreelekshmi Kishore (9B), Thejalakshmi Anil (9B), Manasvi Udaya Kumar (9A), Afra Seeyad (9B) and Sumayya Abdul Rahim (9B) accompanied by Mrs. Elizabeth Abraham set the stage on fire and competed with almost a hundred schools.

The participants started off by setting up the canvas for the live painting finished off their presentation within 7 minutes and received a huge round of applause from the audience. It was indeed a GRAND SUCCESS.

Our school won the Second prize (with 182 marks out of 200) among 23 other schools of the same category. They lost the Crystal Trophy for the first prize (183/200) by just a single point but were equally happy that they at least made it to the second place. They also received SECOND position in the Overall Championship where all the categories were put together which summed up to a total of 95 schools.
