The school playground of Indian School, Al-Ain was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere on 3rd November 2016.
The fantastic turnout from the parents and the pleasant weather were the perfect boost for the students on their 40th annual sports day. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way. A grand march past by the students of all houses was breath taking. A peppy dance drill and an energizing exercise drill set the tone for the rest of the event.
All the students took the oath to participate in the sports with complete honesty and correct sportsmanship.
The newly built turf and track was inaugurated on the day by our Honourable chairman Dr. T.K. Moideen, Honourable general secretary Mr. P.K. Abubaker and the school administration.
This new facility is a new feather on the cap of the prestigious institution as students can be trained comfortably and safely for sporting events on this turf and track.
Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.
Students participated in the true spirit of sportsmanship and many students won medals for their outstanding performances and achievements on the field truly standing up to the quote
