Animals play important roles in all our lives, and children especially seem to have a natural affinity for animals.
The nature of their relationships with animals and the natural world are important in shaping their overall attitudes and beliefs. Encouraging positive relationships with other living beings and our common home—the Earth—is the aim of the activity “THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF ANIMALS”. It is taught when teachers model respect and reinforce knowledge, skills and attitudes that demonstrate responsibility, kindness and caring.
To encourage humane behavior towards all living creatures and to inculcate positive values in the minds of the young buds we at ISA had the activity “The wonderful world of animals”. Students of KG 1 and KG2 participated in making models of a jungle, farm, desert, water world and mini beasts galore. It was a day filled with fun arranging and talking about the wonderful world of animals and how to care for them.
