ILO’S WORLD DAY FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK UNDER THE MOTTO
“OPTIMIZE THE COLLECTION AND USE OF OSH DATA”
Indian School AlAin celebrated the WORLD DAY FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK in a grand manner on 27th April, 2017. The motto of the day was “OPTIMIZE THE COLLECTION AND USE OF OSH DATA “.This programme was successful one with participation of both staff and students of the school. Now the whole school is aware of all the safety measures in the school.
The interesting part of the programme was the demonstration of the proper usage of the safety equipments and costumes. It was very informative to the students. They explained about what are the safety measures to be taken in to consideration in case of emergency in the school building, school bus, lab, while using the computers and of course the playground. The correct usage of fire extinguishers and first aids were explained very clearly by them.
A written quiz was also conducted based on safety. Broadcasting OSH video about safety matters to the students was also informative. Fire evacuation mock drill from the school building and school bus, and awareness workshop for staff and students were also conducted.
The programme came to an end with pleasant memories.
